The Big BadAss

Belle *Confessional*

(Bob, the cameraman, after days of not being able to find Samantha to oust her from the island re orders from the Big Bad Ass, wanders the island with a bag of Krispy Kremes, and waddles near the Horton cabin, and thinks he hears something, but when he knocks on the door nobody answers, and he can't see anyone through the dirty windows, so takes a big bite of his glazed pastry and continues on his way.)

Bob: (Speaking as pieces of donut shoot sporadically from his loaded mouth.) Where the hell is everyone? Did they end the game and forget to tell me? Or are those nuts having an orgy somewhere and didn't invite me? Damn!

Timothy: (Still stunned -- unable to believe what's happening, and now having visions of squirrel-eating behemoths appearing from out of nowhere, he stutters...) Who Belle? Who is about here in this maddening Shangri-la?

Shhhh... (Whispering.) Okay, like usually he just like shows up when I come, so let's sit down and wait. (Belle and her squirrel companion back up and sit down, resting against the trunk of the willow tree, taking in the idyllic view. Timothy can see that Belle is barely able to keep still. Her toes are wiggling uncontrollably.

They watch and listen to the pleasant, gentle sloshing of the brook and the mellow chirping of birds flitting from tree to tree. After a few moments, they see a small pair of blue sneakers tip toe around the leafy, hanging umbrage and hear a sweet, soft child's voice say, "Belle? Belle?")

I'm *here*!

(Belle is up and quickly swinging the little boy around and around in the air. When she finally sets the child down, she tousles his hair and squeaks how much she missed him. He smiles shyly and looks down at Timothy who has joined them. Belle leans over for Timothy to jump up on her shoulder. The curious squirrel looks the boy over, wondering what a small child is doing in this place all alone. The slender boy had brown hair cut neatly, big sad blue eyes, and a sweet shy smile with a slight overbite. When the boy sees the squirrel staring at him, his smile widens and Timothy sees that he has a gapping hole where a tooth was missing in front. He suddenly feels grateful to have all his teeth.)

Timothy, I want you to meet my brother. Brady!!!

(Timothy wasn't sure why it seemed to be taking so long for him to process what the girl had just told him, until he realizes that he's already met her brother. And he wasn't this sweet cherub. Not even close!

He scurries down and stands on the ground, his hands on his hips, and looks up at the bubbly teen as she grins from ear to ear at her playmate.)

Timothy: Belle, I know you must miss Brady - though I can't fathom why -- but really... is it truly going to help for you to call this young chap your brother? (Then, covering his mouth partially to avoid the boy hearing him, he continues...) Not to mention it could cause irreparable harm to the lad.

Hehehe, no... but, it's TRUE! I didn't believe it myself at first. It's like so bizarre and everything, right? But it's true. This is BRADY BLACK.

Brady: Hi.

I told Brady about you, Timothy.

Brady: Belle, he does talk. A talking squirrel...

I know! Can you like believe it, Brady? Timothy is like the...

Timothy: This isn't possible. Is this some kind of time warp or an episode of Dr. Who?

Who?

Timothy: Dr. Whhh... oh never mind. I don't understand.

That's okay, you will. Brady, let's show Timothy your room.

Brady: Okay. (He reaches for her hand and begins to lead her and Timothy further into the valley.

Finally they reach some hedges that Brady parts with his small hands, and they follow him through. Past the greenery, they enter what looks like a typical little boy's bedroom. Timothy notices an American baseball theme. Belle jumps up on the bed, sitting Indian style.

Timothy is still baffled and confused by everything. He sits next to Belle on the bed, while the boy climbs into a bean bag chair, tossing a baseball in and out of the small mitt on his hand. They sit in somewhat awkward silence, until Belle suddenly starts crying. Brady and Timothy both flinch and sit up alertly not knowing what to do.)
