Survivor Profiles

The Big BadAss

Oh - and in case you haven't caught on - there will occasionally be little surprises, further messages, hints, whatever, in some of my posts. Where do you find them? Why, by clicking on the little {*} things scattered about. And the occasionally linked word in my blogs. Unless it's an e-mail address, chances are, it's an easter egg. ;)

Now that we're all nice and cozy on our humble little island....let's get it on!

21 Survivors. 63 Days. Who will last the longest? Who will be...

The Ultimate Days Survivor?

Ready to find out? We are!

Before arriving on Smith Island, Survivors were stripped of all their belongings except for a personal luxury item. Here is a list of the tribes - who they are and what they brought with them:

Tribe #1: Campsite: in the woods on the East Side of Smith Island

Marlena - Rachie - charm bracelet
Jennifer - Skruggie - Ray Charles so he can personally sing Hit The Road Jack at her beck and call....
Wayne's RealRoman - dhallfan1 - picture of Marlena, just in case she's kicked off before he is
Brady - LisaD - his Tiny Tim canes
Samantha Evans - chadleigh - Magic Markers and drawing pad
Laura - Rhiannon - a steady supply of drugs
Kristen - Dee_Coats - John's VR Goggles
BabyBelle - Sharon - Ruby Bear
Kim Brady - momstartedit - multiple personalities ca.1992
Craig Wesley - madraven - fully stocked medical bag

Tribe #2: Camp near the beach on the West Side of Smith Island

Belle - Erin Rose - fully stocked make-up bag
Hope - DeAnn - a fully stocked overnight bag that includes a tiara, battery operated curling iron, extra set of batteries, a push-up bra and a fork for twirling purposes
John - jl - the watch Marlena gave to him
Isabella Toscano - Josephine - Clairol Nice 'n Easy (blonde) hair coloring kit
Stefano - Days Child - phoenix ring
Shane Donovan - Beth - secret ISA room from his house
Nancy Wesley - LukeNLaura - bottle of Tums
Jim Reilly - JimReillyJr - hypnotizing mirror
Susan Banks - Elsifer - Lisa Marie doll
Sami - Michelle* - cell phone programmed with Austin, Brandon, Kate, and Regis Philbin's phone numbers (in case she needs to phone a friend)
Tom Langan - NotNancyLewis - Nancy Lewis

But you are not stranded cold. Your generous producers are giving each team a crate of supplies. At your camp sites, you will find a very large puzzle box which holds the following items:

Four tents; jello; a donut fryer, and Alice's recipe for donuts; Brady's canes; the All Purpose Mercman Guide to Saving the World and Doing Brain Surgery (has a special section on jungle survival and wild monkey sex); strawberries and cream; a pan for cooking; a chess set and smoking jacket w/ascot; a masquerade ball mask; virtual reality goggles; five feet of rope; a supply of clearasil acne medicine; a shiny, sparkly tiara; midol; fake Susan teeth; seven bars of hersheys' chocolate; plenty of tea, of course; an exorcising kit designed by good old Fr. Francis (still in a coma, so it was ghost written by nurse Brenda), included in the kit is holy water, a cross that burns flesh, and a manual on speaking in tongues; a poison pen, which we filched off of Tom Langan before dropping him on the island with you; a pair of handcuffs; an electric keyboard; massage oil; earplugs; a bottle of French champagne; condoms, gratuitously skanky underwear; a box of "do it yourself" home DNA test kits; a vat of the Brady's chowder; a "Come Back to Life Free and Easy with a Totally New Face" card; a key to.. something; shampoo and conditioner and razors

Some of these items you will find useful. Others...well, use your imagination. You may find other things around the island, or you may not. That all depends on you. But remember - there are some boundaries. The Horton Cabin is off limits, as is the Horton Cabin Outdoor Shower Stall. Same goes for any other buildings you may find scattered about. Sleep outdoors, people. And bathe in the lake. It's part of the charm of the game.

The Rules

Only those who have already registered and claimed a character may play. The rest of you: We look forward to seeing you next time.

Every round will be three or four days long. Prepare to be flexible (in any way you desire...) You may use your first and second days to rest, to form alliances, and/or to post confessionals from your character about his or her experiences thus far. The second day ideally - possibly the third day - we'll have our immunity challenge. We'll make the announcement of when the immunity challenges will occur on the first day of each round. We will give you the details of each challenge on the day it is scheduled to occur. The fourth day of each round will be the Tribal Council during which you can either e-mail or cast your vote here on the blog for the Weakest Link...I mean tribe member to be voted off. Remember to include comments explaining your vote! If you are unable to get online on a voting day, do not panic! You may cast a vote by e-mail anytime during the course of a round, even before the immunity challenge winner has been declared. (If your team wins immunity, your vote will be discarded, and no one will know who you voted for.) Votes may also be changed anytime before the Tribal Council ends at midnight on the last night of a round. The last vote cast, either on the Days Survivor page or by e-mail, will be the one counted{*}. At the conclusion of Tribal Council, the votes and the comments will be posted on the blog, and we will declare who has been cast-off. The cast-off member of the tribe will then post his or her final words. All cast-off members will be on the jury that decides between the final two Survivors. Email votes may be sent to: tribalcouncil@peanut-gallery.com.

We will begin as two tribes and merge when we are down to 10 or 11 players - I, The Big BadAss, will officially make that call when the time comes. Immunity challenges will be team challenges until the merge; then they will become individual (just like on the show). Until the tribes merge, whichever tribe loses the immunity challenge must vote off one of its members. After the tribes merge, only one person will win immunity in each challenge, again just like on the show. Confused? No? Good. Confused? Yes? You'll catch on in no time, and you can always e-mail me if you're really lost.

Schedule for Round 1

DAY 1 (Confessional Day): Tuesday, May 30
DAY 2 (Immunity Day): Wednesday, May 31
DAY 3 (Tribal Council Day): Thursday, June 1

Treemail about Wednesday's immunity challenge will be posted either Tuesday evening late or Wednesday morning.

Final votes for the first tribe member to be ejected must be in no later than midnight ET on Thursday night.

Welcome to Day 1! If you'd like to post an opening confessional about what's happened since you've been stripped of your belongings and dumped in your camp, you may do so any time in the next few days. Good luck and have a great game!
